The Midlothian Tennis Association works to encourage youth tennis development within the community. Lessons are held throughout the year during Spring, Summer and Fall seasons. Seasons typically start in March, June and September and run consecutive Saturdays or Sundays.
The Midlothian Tennis Association hosts Play Nights, lessons and leagues throughout the year. The Spring season typically begins in March, Summer in June and Fall play starting in September. Seasons run about 8 - 10 weeks.
Men & Women welcome. Our doubles play nights divides players into competitive and intermediate courts. Doubles nights are for players who have completed multiple sessions of lessons and are able to rally.
DOUBLES PLAYWe are seeking ladies for 3.0+ and 4.0 leagues. Leagues include singles and doubles with matches held in the Midlothian and Fort Worth areas.
LADIES USTAOur level-based flex league is played in a round robin format with matches scheduled individually between opponents each week.
SINGLES FLEXDrills are offered by experienced coaches in a group setting. Available to men and women. RSVP each week.
EVENING DRILLSThis class is for children new to tennis, beginners and intermediate level. Kids will be divided based on playing ability.
Class is for new players up to 2.0 level. Our coach will teach you the basics and improve your tennis game in a fun environment of games, drills and techniques. Class sizes are limited.
ADULT BEGINNERBracket play for intermediate and advanced players in a Flex League format. Players play one match per week, assigned by league commisssioner, and scheduled themselves. Players will be matched based on skill level. League is open to all ages and levels.
This class is for children new to tennis, beginners and intermediate level. Kids will be divided based on playing ability. Children should wear athletic clothing/shoes and bring their own water and racquet.
CLASSES DURING THE DAY
We will have two groups of doubles, divided into competitive and intermediate courts. Players must be at least a 3.0 USTA or verified UTR 3.0+ for the competitive court. Players will rotate partners, playing three doubles matches of 8 total games.

The Midlothian Tennis Association (MTA) is a non-profit community organization created by a group of avid tennis players in Midlothian, Texas. Formed in 1999, MTA works closely with the Parks & Recreation Department, MISD and Booster Clubs to grow the game of tennis for all ages within the community. MTA hosts lessons, drills, leagues and tournaments for the residents of Midlothian and surrounding areas.
